Mission Statement
To provide a clean, attractive, friendly environment where people of all ages can retreat from the distractions of the world. To have a setting conducive to God's Spirit touching their life in a special way. To make Acadian Baptist Center a place where people can sense God's presence. To go the "extra mile" and serve Jesus while serving others.
We have four main goals: Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Recreation.
Doctrinal Statement
-
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old & New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
-
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
-
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that man sinned, and thereby incurred, not only physical death but spiritual death, which is separation from God; that, as a result of this sin first committed by Adam, all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, are accountable as sinners in thought, word and deed.
-
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
-
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.
-
We believe in “that blessed hope,” the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
-
We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and only thereby become children of God. We further believe that the Christian life is exemplary of the teachings found in the New Testament as the Holy Spirit reproduces the life of Jesus Christ in and through each obedient believer.
-
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
-
We believe salvation is a gift of God through faith in His only begotten
Son, Jesus Christ.

Southern Baptist Convention can empower kingdom growth by doing
evangelism and discipleship in the name of Jesus Christ.

facilities and activities that encourages development in spiritual,
intellectual, emotional, social, and physical areas.

Acadian Baptist Center may permit other Christian denominational groups,
non-profit groups, and others whose purpose and objectives are
compatible with those of Acadian Baptist Center to use the facilities as

-
In keeping with the purpose of Acadian Baptist Center, the administrator
has the authority to refuse the use of the facilities to any group whose

determine whether any group's activities, purpose, or teachings are not
compatible with those of Acadian Baptist Center without the necessity of
convening the Board of Directors, although the Board of Directors should
be consulted in any situation where time permits.
As a non-profit Christian organization Acadian Baptist Center reserves the right to refuse or cancel services or facility use to any individual(s) or group whose willful activity, teaching, or conduct detracts from Acadian Baptist Center’s Christian witness or is contrary to its Statement of Faith.
Marriage Policy
In keeping with our statement of faith, we believe
marriage is a holy institution established by God as the exclusive,
covenantal union of one man and one woman. Genesis 2:24 states, “for
this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and be joined to
his wife; and they shall become one flesh.” Jesus Christ affirmed this
in Matthew 19:4-6: “And he answered and said, “Have you not read that He
Who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said,
for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to
his wife and the two shall become one flesh? So they are no longer two,
but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man
separate.” We faithfully follow, speaking and following the truth in
love, this scriptural definition of marriage in the teachings and
practices of this ministry; and therefore only marriages that fit the
definition above may be conducted on the property or officiated by the
members, staff or directors of Acadian Baptist Center. Furthermore, we
regard any restrictions and definitions we apply to our ministry
concerning marriage to be an expression of the free exercise clause of
the first amendment to the United States constitution.
