Spring 2010 Camp Manager’s Report

Making ABC a lighthouse for the Gospel in Louisiana.

This is an exciting time to be part of ABC.

Completion of the dining hall expansion will enable ABC to serve campers more

effectively and comfortably. Even though construction has kept us busy through most of the fall and winter, it has been worth it. The new serving lines and additional seating have already been a blessing during retreats. The spacious hallway and bathrooms are a major improvement and allow congregating for meals in an air-conditioned sheltered environment. Thanks to the many volunteers, workers, and donors that made this dining hall possible.

Our retreat and conference attendance has been good this year. The summer camp

attendance looks very promising, with several camps already starting to fill up. We have hired our summer staffers and have begun training them for the summer. Please be in prayer for them as they serve.

Thank you to our volunteers from : FBC New Iberia, FBC Monterey, Bayou Vista

Baptist Church. Prairie Grove Christian Church from Arkansas, The Duggers, The

Millers, and Campers On Mission.

Together with our donors, staff, board, and supporters we will continue to be a

lighthouse for the Gospel in Louisiana.

Thank you for the privilege of serving you these years,

James Newsom
